Phylogénie des Notothenioidei.
Cytogénétique : Variabilité caryotypique inter et intra-populations, comparaison des génomes par peignage d’ADN et FISH de puces ADN sur fibres. Expression des gènes à caractère adaptatif.
Modélisation des habitats des poissons côtiers antarctiques par système d’information géographique: variations spatio-temporelles, importance des icebergs et de la banquise.
ICOTA fait partie du programme international CAML qui va se dérouler pendant l'Année polaire internationale. La mission 2007-2008 est une collaboration entre l'Australie, la France et la Belgique pour comprendre la biodiversité des océans entourant l'Antarctique avec une priorité sur l'ichtyofaune du plateau continental Est-Antarctique.

Le programme IPEV n°281 ICOTA est repris dans les programmes API n°93 ICEFISH-2007 : International Collaborative Expedition to collect and study Fish Indigenous to Sub-Antarctic Habitats et n°53 CAML : A Census of Antarctic Marine Life. La mission 2007-08 du projet CAML permettra la compréhension de la biodiversité de l'océan Austral avec une priorité sur l'ichtyofaune du plateau continental est-antarctique. L'Astrolabe et le ROV seront mis à contribution.
Le ROV (robot sous-marin) est utilisé dans ce programme pour étudier les populations des fonds sous-marins côtiers.

Antarctic coastal fish habitat modelling by the use of geographic information systems : spatio-temporal variations, importance of icebergs and sea ice.
This project is a part of the international CAML which is to be conducted during the International Polar Year. The 2007-2008 survey is a collaborative contribution by Australia, France and Belgium to understand the biodiversity of the oceans surrounding Antarctica, with particular emphasis on the fishes of the eastern Antarctic shelf.
This program is endorsed by the IPY projects n°53 CAML : A Census of Antarctic Marine Life et n°93 ICEFISH-2007 : International Collaborative Expedition to collect and study Fish Indigenous to Sub-Antarctic Habitats.
